Avery started her first day of Kindergarten this morning! I woke her up bright and early with the traditional "School Days" song my mom woke me up with every year. She HAD to wear her new High School Musical outfit from Mema on her first day! It's supposed to be 90 degrees today, and even though the outfit had leggings and socks I said that was fine. : ) I held off on the tears until we were out of eye sight from her...I'm sure going to miss my helper every day!

perhaps it's the teacher and mommy in me, but these pics made me cry! Glad Avery enjoyed her first day of kindergarten - so sweet! By the way, High School Musical was the fashion of choice for many of my students this year too - Avery and Mary are up on the trends :)
