Happy Birthday Grandpa Roger

This weekend we celebrated Jason's Grandpa Roger's 80th Birthday at Mary and Bruce's house. We all had a great time! The adults had fun talking and catching up and the kids played Wii in the house....well I guess the adults did too! : ) There was so much good food...guess I'll have to re-start my diet!

Avery's 1st day of Kindergarten

Avery started her first day of Kindergarten this morning! I woke her up bright and early with the traditional "School Days" song my mom woke me up with every year. She HAD to wear her new High School Musical outfit from Mema on her first day! It's supposed to be 90 degrees today, and even though the outfit had leggings and socks I said that was fine. : ) I held off on the tears until we were out of eye sight from her...I'm sure going to miss my helper every day!

Jamont (Aka Deebo) and Stephanie's wedding weekend

This Labor Day weekend we traveled down to Rockford, IL for our friend Jamont's wedding. He's a good friend of ours back from our Oshkosh days. We had a great time! After the rehearsal Jamont took all his groomsmen out for some drinks to celebrate his last night of being a single man! Not only did we get to see Jamont, but Mr. Edwin Connor, the man to blame for Jason and I meeting! We haven't seen him in 6 years!! I was a little nervous of going, since I knew only Jamont and Ed, but the best man Garrett's wife Rebecca and Ed's girlfriend Jen and I hit it off! They quickly became my partner's in crime!

Saturday morning we all met up for a late breakfast at Cracker Barrel then to Rebecca and Garrett's room to help get the men looking their best.

1000 Islands

We had our friend Christine's daughter again last Wednesday and we spent a few hours walking around 1000 Islands Enviromental Center. Here's a few pictures of our time there.
