Last Day of Soccer

Today was the last day of Soccer for the summer. Surpisingly Avery is really quite good!! She loves playing Goalie but today she played on offense the whole time. She came very close to kicking her first goal and her team for the first time really showed real teamwork! : )

Outagamie County Fair

Yesterday Bruce and Mary (Jason's dad and mom) gave us a call and asked if we'd like to meet them in Seymour for the Outagamie County Fair. We had nothing planned and Jason was still in Milwaukee for a Bachelor Party the night before so we hit the road. Here's a few pics of Avery enjoying the rides.

Elkhart Lake

A couple of weeks ago the kids and I took a trip down to Elkhart Lake with my sister. We had a great time and the weather was perfect, but Carter was just really under the weather. I wanted to give him another chance to have a good time so we went back last week. It was supposed to be 84 degrees that day, but when we got there it had yet to hit even 75!! We thought we'd wait it out and it'd eventually warm up....never happened! We still had fun though and I guess we'll just have to try it again in a few weeks!

Sunset Park

Why didn't I find this place months ago?! We heard about Sunset Park in Kimberly from one of our friends and yesterday we just had to check it out! It's a man-made lake with a huge sand play area, concessions, and park. I was a little leary of how clean it would be since it is man-made, but it was awesome!! We had so much fun playing in the water, building sand castles and just wandering around chasing Carter! We will definately be visiting it at least once a week for the rest of the summer!

Club Libby Lu

Every little girls favorite thing to do??? PLAYING DRESS UP!!!

That's exactly what Club Libby Lu is! It's a new store in the Fox River Mall, and how could I say no to going in and spending an hour making my daughter's eyes light up as she became "Sharpay" from High School Musical! Or should I say Mema (Grandma Mary) couldn't say no!? haha! We had so much fun! They have over 10 different hair styles to choose from but of course my darling daughter went straight for the gigantic blond wig! : )

Go Brewers Go!

Last Sunday Jason took Avery to see her first Brewers Game at Miller Park. They had a great time, ate lots of junk food and Avery's favorite part was "shopping" for Carter and my presents and cheering on the sausages during the sausage race! haha! By the 6th inning she had enough though and was ready to go home. Here's some cute pics of her from her Avery/Daddy day at Miller Park.

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July to all of our friends and family!!!

Friday we had a 4th of July cookout with a few of our friends. Matt and Amber, Josh and Amber, Christine and then all of their kids. We grilled "Famous Jay's" chicken, Burgers and had a bunch of good food to go along with it. The kids swam in the kiddie pool, ran in the sprinklers and played in the playroom. We had a great time!

Thursday Appleton had their fireworks display at Memorial Park. We met our friends Matt and Amber with their 3 girls there and had a great time! Boogie and the Yo Yo's performed before the fireworks started, they also have a beer and food tent. We got there about 8 pm, Avery danced her little behind off to the music with Jade and Kendra. Carter sat on my lap and ate snacks and boogied a little himself! haha! Here's a few pics of the night...
